This Privacy Policy explains how Moodra Team collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Moodra app and related services.

2) Age requirement (17+)

The Service is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

3) Summary of the Service

Moodra is your personal mood tracker and calendar for recording daily emotions in seconds and seeing how they change over time.

4) Information we collect

We collect information in three main ways: (a) information you provide, (b) information collected automatically, and (c) information collected with your permission.

Information you provide (Account and Support)

  • Account information: name, username, email address.
  • Support and communications: the content you send to customer support (including attachments, if any).
  • Any other information you choose to provide in your messages to us.

Optional photos / images / text for generation

  • We do not perform face recognition.
  • We do not collect or use biometric identifiers (such as faceprints).
  • Processing is one-time for the requested output, and server-side inputs are deleted immediately after processing.
  • By default, your photos/content are stored locally on your device unless you explicitly choose to upload them.
  • We do not use uploaded content for training marketing models or for advertising purposes.

Information collected automatically

  • Device information (e.g., device model, OS version, language, time zone, certain identifiers where permitted).
  • Usage data / analytics (feature usage, interactions, performance metrics).
  • Crash logs (diagnostic data used to fix stability issues).

Location information (only with your permission)

If you allow location access, we may collect precise and/or approximate location to support location-related features. You can disable location access any time in your device settings.

Cookies and similar technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies (including web beacons) to support login, session management, and preferences.

5) How we use information

  • Provide and maintain the Service (authentication, syncing, and core features).
  • Personalization (saving preferences and improving your experience).
  • Improve and develop the Service (analytics, troubleshooting).
  • Safety and security (fraud prevention, abuse detection, protecting users and systems).
  • Customer support and communications.
  • Legal compliance and enforcement of our policies.
We do not sell your personal information.

6) Optional AI-assisted features (if available)

If Moodra offers AI-assisted features (for example, generating a summary, insights, or other content based on text or images you choose to provide), then:

  • User control: you choose whether to upload content and whether to generate AI-assisted output.
  • Processing location: any uploaded text or images are processed on Moodra’s own servers.
  • No third-party sharing for AI processing: we do not share those uploaded inputs with any third party for AI processing.
  • Deletion after processing: once processing is complete, we delete the uploaded inputs from our servers immediately (subject to short technical delays).
  • No training/marketing use: we do not use uploaded text or images for advertising, marketing, or training third-party models.

7) How we share information

We share information only as described below, and only to the minimum extent necessary:

  • Service providers (processors): vendors who help provide infrastructure, storage, analytics, crash reporting, customer support tools, and security services.
  • With your consent or at your direction.
  • For legal reasons: to comply with law, protect users, investigate fraud, or protect rights and security.
  • Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, subject to safeguards.

8) International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. When we transfer personal data internationally, we use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms where required.

9) Security

  • Encryption in transit and at rest where appropriate.
  • Access controls and least-privilege policies.
  • Regular security reviews/audits and monitoring.
  • Backups and disaster recovery measures.

10) Data retention

  • Account information: retained while your account is active.
  • Account deletion: after you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal data within 30 days (subject to legal/security needs).
  • Usage analytics and crash logs: retained for up to 12 months.
  • Customer support content: retained for up to 6 months.

11) Your rights and choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict/object to certain processing, and withdraw consent (e.g., for location).
